OneDrive folder exclusion problem
#1
Hello.

I've just discovered this piece of software, and I`ve liked it, but I've found a problem:
I'm trying to backup a windows 10 partition, but when I try to exclude Onedrive folders, using filters, OneDrive folders are always included when I mount the resulting image. Also the size is greater than expected because it is copying all downloaded Onedrive files.
I`ve tried with folder option and folder + file , with *.* in file, obtaining same results.

I think it does not matter, but I'm using OneDrive Professional.

The Hasleo Backup Suite has been v5.8.2.2 Home VersionĀ  (trial period), but I think that if I solve this problem I will buy the license.

Thanks a lot in advance.

There may be a way of handling OneDrive to do exactly as you want but my way of handling OneDrive is to avoid the problem and also reap the benefit of isolating the Windows partition images from OneDrive data files.
I setup OneDrive on its own partition so it can be backed up independently from a Windows backup. This makes system images smaller and faster and you can replace Windows from a backup at any time for any reason without being concerned about the effect on data files. I have OneDrive so it keeps all the files on the PCs local disk so the OneDrive cloud copies act as a synced backup.
Even without OneDrive use, I'd isolate system from data by a partition or physical disk.
