Hasleo Backup Suite V5.0.2.3 Released (V5.0 Release 3)!

What's new in this version:
1. Windows 11 KB5050094 update caused the program to not start in WinPE
2. Fixed bug: Failed to create VSS snapshots in some cases
3. Fixed some bugs to improve product quality

I would like to express my praise to all the developers of this very young software. They react very quickly to errors and to the wishes of the users and do not have to hide from competitors such as Macrium, AOMEI, Acronis.

I have now switched completely from Macrium to Hasleo Backup Suite and am very satisfied

Thank you for your satisfaction with this product. Hasleo Backup Sutie is still very young, some of the features are not yet complete and there is a lot of room for improvement.

thanks for a very promising program!

3 issues though:
1) storing the job configuration in the programs folder (C:\Program Files \Hasleo\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin) is IMO a rather bad idea. I installed 5.0.2.3 to a different path than 5.0.2.2 had been and by that lost all config*.
2) BackupSystemTray.exe is running but there's no icon displayed (Win10x64 [Version 10.0.19044.3324])
3) job display is IMO misleading (at least ambiguous: Does one have to press "||" to pause the job or does "||" mean the job is already paused?).




* Sure, after researching I found the reason and solved this but that's unnecessary and IMO bad practice (%APPDATA% was the better/correct place).

We will improve it in future releases.

The tray icon will only be displayed when a task is executed, because some users hate the tray icon, and it may be that many programs abuse the tray icon.

The icon  usually represents PAUSE, such as in players and video sites. So you can click on  to pause the backup schedule, and then click  to resume it. To make it less misleading, we'll add a tooltip for the button.
