Cannot Mount Backup Image. Driver Error (V6.0.2.0)

Hello,

Windows 11 PRO 25H2 with Hasleo Backup Suite Free V6.0.2.0

When I try to mount a backup Image, either double click or from the GUI, it cannot be mounted and the following error appears in red at the Bottom of the GUI:

The driver used to mount the image volume is not working properly (0x01600179FFFFFFD)

Tested with several images, and same error.

Fortunately, I tested a simple restore from the image and it works.

Have you tried a reinstall?

Please restart your computer after reinstalling the program to see if the issue persists.

I restarted the PC, and it’s working now.

I assumed that the HBS installation didn’t require a Windows reboot, as it wasn’t explicitly stated. I should have realized that if a driver-related issue arises, it’s likely because a new driver failed to load.
