I have a VM with a disk I cannot get to shrink because of unmovable files, I created a new smaller disk and tried to use disk clone "system clone" to clone everything to the new smaller disk  as a workaround.
It got to around 40% pretty quick and then stopped working, I left it overnight with no progress.

Why do I get a startup error 0xc000000e which indicates a required device isn't connected or can't be accessed if I create a full disk backup image from the emergency disk and then wipe the entire drive and then restore the full disk backup back to the same drive.  Does the disk signature or GUID change if the drive is wiped and then restored?  System backup can only be done from within Windows and cannot be done from emergency disk.  What's the difference between system backup and full disk backup?  This issue doesn't occur if I do a full backup and restore using Macrium Reflect rescue disk.

To maximize your efforts of getting speedier restores, besides using more cores, i suggest doing it more automatic. For instance, after starting a restore the program wants user input about booting into recovery mode/boot menu, that is redundant in a majority of restore situations for all users, you would not have started the restore otherwise. An option to tick a box with the text "Do not ask again" would be appropriate, or an item in settings where to inactivate the input, instead just start the restore. Or maybe a 5sec countdown with the option to abort before it automaticly commence the restore. Secondly, when the restore is done, user input should not be needed instead it should just restart automaticly as, again, is the intent of users in a majority of restores. That input could be solved by the above mentioned countdown solution or by visible boxes to tick during the restore in the restore frame. Like the box that is visible there now that says - Shut down. And of course, then, a box to tick that says - Do not ask again.

Or maybe all these options could be in the - Settings. Anyway, now you have some idèas to think about, develop.

The result of the suggestions would be automated restores that would be very conveniant for the user and even more speedier. Restores that the user can start and then go away, without the need to monitor it, be there, while the restore is accomplished but at the same time has options for thoose who wants it, or when needed. As mentioned, monitor a restore with input is not requested in most restore situations, you just want to get it done.

I can guarantee you that you will get a VERY popular software if this simplification of usage would be implemented and, you will have the upper hand among many of your competitors.

hello guys.
i have 2 different sdd drives with 2 system installed.
When change from one system to other one, The current OS is "taking over" some folders on the data drive (D that causes some problems when i change to the other system (like the cloud app having problems to sync files from these folders)

is there anyway i can so this taking overs between 2 systems and make peace between them?

I have a laptop that cannot restore, I got a message like "Exclusive access could not be obtained becaose the volume (Es in use. Close all applications..." when i'm on WinPe preboot envoirment.

What can i do?

Greetings!  Tried the new, improved v230113 version doing nothing more than a single OS partition image and MANUAL restore (to test improved restoration speed).  After creating a new BOOT menu entry with new program referenced, did the OS image and entered the Hasleo BOOT menu for the manual restoration.  All seemed to go well until the restore was finished, at which time the following error appeared in the final window...

"The data is invalid. (0x014A001600000003)"

Tried accessing LOGs in Winpe... unavailable.  Upon reBOOTing the system, all seemed well as far as the restoration was concerned... have never seen this before.  Will try again...

I'm trying to encrypt C drive and after my PC reloads, I'm getting an error saying "failed to load system API".
In the bitlocker logs I can see a message saying "BOOTMGR is compressed" (I'm attaching the log).
I tried to disabled Windows defender and etc, but it didn't help...

I have 2 diferent experiences with 2 identical laptops (latitude 3420 with win10 on nvme hard disk).

In one computer Hasleo Backup Suite works perfectly. But in the otherone no: when i try to restore the sistem backup and it startups on Hasleo boot envoirment, the destination hard disk don't apear.

I think that i find the nvme drivers, but now Hasleo Backup Suite doen't ask me for drivers!

Any suggestion?
