@admin,
I noted your "stern statement" to the member in question, with approval. Question marks, or not, the member made serious libelous allegations against a very reputable company that reflect very badly on Hasleo and its Forum. That member has not responded with any credible evidence, which is evidence itself that he has none.
I completely endorse the views stated by @n8chavez. This is a Forum dedicated to the discussion of Hasleo products, not to advance conspiracy theories;, or, to spread or suggest misinformation about other reputable companies.
As I, and other members, have already posted, the member in question should find another software imaging program that will satisfy him. I doubt he will find one ... For some unknown reason, the member chooses to remain in this Hasleo Forum, even though the member is clearly very unhappy ... ?
I, for one, am getting very tired of his many "what if" posts, expressing his concerns about the integrity of Hasleo software, based on his undocumented previous experiences, which of course, have nothing actually to do with Hasleo.
In brief: the member's posts are not constructive or documented.
Just my two cents. Have a great day.
Regards,
Phil

Here is a screenshot.
This screenshot is from my order, I blurred out my info.
https://www.easyuefi.com/store-backup-clone.html -> Hasleo Backup Suite Professional (check "Free lifetime upgrades ") -> BUY NOW -> scroll down to email inputfield.
I'd rather not post full purchase info here but I can send purchase info (forward the purchase notification email containing order number.)
Or/and I can send un-blurred screenshot to an (support) email address.
I wanted to post the following in an seperate topic, but I'll ask it here:
=====
Are pro licenses locked to an machine? (machine code) or is the license transferable (uninstall from machine then reinstall on other machine and register with purchase code).
=====
Thank you.

Thank you for providing the screenshot and related information.
Yes, the license is bound to the hardware code of your computer. We are happy to provide reset services for reasonable device replacements, such as computer upgrades, hardware failures, or operating system reinstalls.
However, please note that a single license authorizes use on only a specified number of devices. For example, a company with dozens of computers must purchase the corresponding number of licenses, rather than rotating usage by frequently resetting a single license. We reserve the right to deny reset requests for such misuse.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

This is a totally reasonable request. Reasonable people will have no problem with this license term.

I have no desire to be inflammatory or "argue on the internet" about this. I do not have and never claimed any "credible evidence" because my comments are just questions and concerns, not "libelous allegations ". They come from my real world "what if" scenarios that actually happened with other software (with similar licensing schemes) that I have purchased over the years, that were all rendered useless within months after payment, and I did give examples: Elby AnyDVD, PowerQuest Drive Image, Alcohol 120% (deactivates within days without even changing hardware!), and others.
I do indeed have another imaging software that works for me, for now. The reason I "remain here" is because I actually like Hasleo Backup and Hasleo in general very much, and want to purchase it to support the developers. I just want to make sure I am not about to get "burned" again first. That just comes with age and experience. So I am basically just monitoring its development, policies, and holding off on the purchase...for now. @admin here has done an excellent job of communicating with us and taking suggestions, etc. so I am not bashing Hasleo at all, quite the opposite.
So far, my main problems are the license being tied to hardware - deal breaker: because hardware will change, and internet connection (for reactivation) is not always present and this is backup software, not an MP3 player. There's no guarantee Hasleo will even exist in 6 months or that they will not sell the software to a new, more predatory company who will immediately void old licenses. PowerQuest Drive Image > Norton Ghost, Elby AnyDVD > RedFox AnyDVD, Creative Labs bought Sensaura then retroactively removed the Sensaura 3d Audio tech from C-Media sound cards via lawfare forcing them to pull old drivers that had it. So if you owned a C-Media based sound card (everything except Creative's Soundblaster), a second company (Creative), destroyed it by buying a third company (Sensaura) out then suing everyone.
Second, the recurring "time bomb" that is currently removed, but has been added/removed at least twice before, so not so sure I trust it to not make a return again later, which prevents me from buying a "lifetime" license.

That won't change though, as already discussed multiple times. Hasleo needs to prevent piracy somehow and this is totally understandable. And there's offline activation for PCs not connected directly to the internet. And there's free license resets by the support. And for emergency purposes if everything else fails, there's WinPE. Create a WinPE ISO and you have a copy that will never unregister on its own, even on new hardware. You can always access your backups. Easy.

I think that was discussed enough. It was introduced, later then removed with clear communication that it will be brought back with paid version and finally removed for good, again with clear communication. And that's that.

Everything you're having an issue with has been discussed multiple time before. There's no need to keep bringing the same issues up over and over again if they've been asked and answered. At this point, just go away if you're not satisfied with the answers you've received. That's your right. Or else stay and contribute. But being negative for the sake of being negative helps no one.

@Dude Guyman:
And yet once again, I must endorse and support the preceding posts by @al3x and @n8chavez.
We are not interested in your experiences with other software, period. You have no credible evidence that Hasleo Software is going to do as other companies have done.
Quote:I do indeed have another imaging software that works for me, for now.
If you have a satisfactory imaging solution, and you " actually like" Hasleo backup software, then there is no reason to ascribe to Hasleo the bad experiences you claim to have had with other software products and companies. Stick with the imaging program you have.
We are here to discuss Hasleo software products in a constructive and civil way. If you don't trust Hasleo, then please move on, because, as has been repeatedly said to you, you have no credible evidence that Hasleo is going to " burn you again." Your alleged affection for Hasleo is not borne out by the repeated, critical content of your posts.
