Can you install V5.4.4.2 over V5.2 and it will keep settings and backups.
Also can you delete earlier differential backups like V1 and V2 to make space for further backups?

Please note that you should avoid manually deleting the backup image files, improper deletion of the image files may cause the image chain to be corrupted, so you should use the image deletion feature provided by Hasleo Backup Suite to delete backup versions, please refer to:
