Unable to boot Windows on Mac - lostinwent - 11-16-2018

After installing Windows 10 Pro on a USB-C SSD, I was trying to boot it on a 15" Macbook Pro 2018.
When the computer starts and with pressing 'option' key, the screen shows MacOS and EFI booting.
If I choose EFI booting, apple logo and progress bar runs a few times then MacOS starts again, there is no way to boot into the Windows.

Any help would be appreciated!

Please refer to the following tutorial:

Please make sure that both the system partition and the boot partition are primary partitions.

Thank you I have successfully installed the windows onto the drive, but the drive does not boot after pressing option. Windows logo would appear but then it shows a stopcode of ‘WppRecorder.sys’ failure.

Any suggestion?

Are you using Windows 10 1809? Windows 10 1809 disables Windows to Go functionality so WinToUSB currently does not support it, we are working on the new version to support Windows 10 1809, which may take some time.

Hi everyone, we have solved this problem in the latest version of WinToUSB, and now you can use WinToUSB and Windows 10 1809 to create Windows To Go USB drive.
