Also, I think Macrium sucks.

I agree with your approach and I've bought a licensed copy of Macrium Reflect even though the free that was offered for years did all I ever needed. I'm liking Hasleo but I disagree that Macrium sucks (for whatever reason you have). For my primary machine I still have a subscription to Reflect VX which was very inexpensive considering the V8 trade-in deal.

Well, Hasleo has other software which they sell at profit.  I'm sure they appreciate sales of that software, and even if you don't use it you're supporting the company.

Seems they have added paid versions for Hasleo Backup. I am getting the Pro. Lifetime upgrades is generous.

Thank you for your support. The basic features provided in the free version are sufficient for the vast majority of individual users, and we aim to generate revenue from commercial users to support the ongoing development of the software.
