That would be Excellent text for an Error Message.

It could say "You need a 16G or bigger USB flash drive, your drive is 14.8G"

It would probably be best to update the system requirements, indicating that not only does it need to be 16GB, but, also some 16GB devices don't have 16GB usable. I personally would have assumed (wrongly) that my 16GB device would satisfy the 16GB requirement.

I am using a flash memory stick of 32 GB - after that I used 128 GB - and still get this error. Anything else I can do?

Edit: I am using WinToUSB 2.7 (build Dec 22 2015).

If you want to create a VHD(X)-based Windows To Go drive, please adjust the VHD disk size according to the following guidelines:

Thanks for your quick reply. The error message still appears, though. See images.

Edit: removed irrelevant images. Relevant information here was Windows 8 installation size of 19 GB.

At this point, the stick is formatted ntfs (label 'WinToUSB', size 30.13 GiB) and fat32 (label _+____, size 100 MiB, flag 'boot').

The destination boot partition on the VHD disk must be 20% larger than the used space on source boot partition ( C: ), your drive C: is 19.07G, so the VHD disk must be 24G or bigger, and we recommend you to adjust the VHD disk size to the maximum value.
