Also, I think Macrium sucks.

I agree with your approach and I've bought a licensed copy of Macrium Reflect even though the free that was offered for years did all I ever needed. I'm liking Hasleo but I disagree that Macrium sucks (for whatever reason you have). For my primary machine I still have a subscription to Reflect VX which was very inexpensive considering the V8 trade-in deal.

Well, Hasleo has other software which they sell at profit.  I'm sure they appreciate sales of that software, and even if you don't use it you're supporting the company.

Seems they have added paid versions for Hasleo Backup. I am getting the Pro. Lifetime upgrades is generous.

Thank you for your support. The basic features provided in the free version are sufficient for the vast majority of individual users, and we aim to generate revenue from commercial users to support the ongoing development of the software.

Good news for you!  There's a paid version of HBS now!  You gonna' ante up?  Wink

Oops, missed that post was actually from you. That's what I get for being a little sassy I suppose. Smile

It's nice to see you here, @Froggie and @antspants.  I just purchased a Hasleo family pack lifetime license, being another former customer of Macrium.  I intensely dislike the annual Macrium X subscription model, and joined the Hasleo Forums.

You guys sold me on Hasleo, reading your comments in Wilders and ElevenForum over several months.

I am going to back up both of my computers using Hasleo tomorrow.  So far, I am really impressed with the ease and speed of creating an Emergency Disk.

Like all of you, I will have suggestions to make once I become more familiar with the software.  I hope to help others as well, and I will be spreading "the word", if I am impressed, which so far I am.

Have a great day.

Regards,
Phil
