I used Hasleo WinToUsb for Windows 11 to create numerous Windows installations on a portable SSD. They operate smoothly on my machine (Windows 11). I also have a not-so-old custom built that won't run W11 (now running W10 on internal), but the portable works great there as well. Both machines were specially built.
I wanted to use the portable W11 on a friend's computer, but none of his three (all W10) would boot up with it. Disk Management displayed the portable, but File Explorer did not.
These three of his PCs are ancient, lack TPM, and cannot install Windows. All are custom-built.
I asked Hasleo for guidance, and they told the WtG is offline by default when it runs for the first time. If that's the case, why do all of the WtGs I've created run fine on my two computers?
I read about including drivers in the WtG and asked Hasleo about it. They omitted that when responding. I wouldn't know which drivers to include or how to incorporate them.
Any suggestions? I'm not sure what his PC specs are.
