Old ? Yep ! 64 y/o for 8 hours as I type this !
I am a newbie as if it isn't obvious! I am in the planning mode I am of the measure twice cut once mentality ! I have not installed the Free version or purchased version of Hasleo Disk Clone - YET. I will say this is not my first rodeo cloning disks as I have used utilities such as Crucial's Acronis True Image, which is free with their SSDs with great success !
My issue today is the following gleaned from a previous post in part that says I'm sorry that Hasleo Backup Suite/Disk Clone does not allow cloning of the Windows operating system or the disk it resides on to a USB drive, whether it is a USB flash drive or an external SSD/HDD USB drive- this was posted in a reply by an admin ! The post also mentions that this cannot be done with the free version as it is funded by purchases of other paid versions , which I fully understand as I am a capitalist !
Can anyone tell me if cloning from a 512GB NVME System Disk to a 1TB NVME in a USB attached enclosure is possible with the paid version ?
Groogle's AI assistant says it is butttttttt it seems to conflict with what the Admin said in the post I referenced above ! The only possible caveat being it is possible using the paid version ! If it matters I am doing this with a PC that is using WIN 11 Home and it is configured with 32GB Ram !
Can anyone confirm that Cloning a [u]a 512GB NVME System Disk to a 1TB NVME in a USB attached enclosure is possible with the paid version of [u]Hasleo Disk Clone or should I opt for a different tool ? There is no shortage of alternatives but simplicity is the entire idea about using computers NO ? and Hasleo Disk Clone appears to be quite simple in use ! Thanks in advance to all who reply OFWG
