Request For Assistance
#1
I am a newbe. I used to use Macrium Reflect - It was easy - just image a drive and then upload incremental changes.
I just want to know if I have to do all three procedures to back up a drive

1. system restore backup
2. disk partition backup
3. file backup

If this is the case - which one should i post incremental changes too?

There are plenty of Youtube videos showing you HOW but none to tell you which are necessary.
Thanks -- - - I really need to back up my stuff

@Chief Vic,

Welcome to the Hasleo Backup Forum.  You posted in another Forum, so I moved your post to the correct Forum.

This Forum is currently in process of drafting Hasleo Backup Suite Frequently-Asked Questions Topic (HBS FAQs).  You can find that Topic pinned and locked in this Forum.  There are already five posts in that Topic/Thread, with many more to come.  I only started that Topic in the last few months.

I am drafting those FAQ posts, with the assistance of the Forum Team and another Forum member.  The draft I am working on now will address Disk/Partition Backup vs. System Backups.  The next one will address File Backups.

If you want to "just image a drive and then upload incremental changes", then the Disk/Partition option is the one to choose.  You should select all of the Partitions on the Drive by creating a Task to do that.  Run that Task, and your entire drive contents will be backed up.  Then you can select, by opening the Task, to run Full, Incremental, or Differential backups, or combination thereof, on a schedule you create if you want done automatically.

All of these basic questions will be answered in upcoming FAQs.  This is a relatively new project that I volunteered to take on.  A lot of YouTube videos and Help Files seem to expect the user to have a level of knowledge that some of us don't have.

In the interim, ask away, by posting in your new "Thread" here.  You will find that the HBS Online Help is great for learning how to navigate the menus and options.  As well, the Hasleo Team has created many great Articles and Tutorials.  Just click the link I included.

Welcome again.  I am also a former Macrium customer.

Have a great day.

Regards,
Phil
