Can Rescue Disk be Copied from USB to USB?

I know, a silly question. The answer is probably NO. Or I should try it and find out. But if I can copy an updated Rescue USB drive to another it would save some time.

There is no guarantee that the cloned Rescue USB drive will boot properly, so we recommend that you recreate the Rescue USB drive. This won't take very long, especially if you've already successfully created the WinPE image. Thanks.

@starchase, I'm not sure what time you're trying to save.  If you're creating a WinRE-based Emergency Disk, the main file for building already exists on your System, building process is minimal.  If you're creating a WinPE-based Emergency Disk, once the initial MicroSloth download is complete and a build is done, anytime after that the original download is used for further EDs (not after UPDATES, only if installed app remains).

You can do as many of us do... download a WinPE baseline ONCE from Hasleo (see HERE)) and keep it around to use anytime you need a new ED, even after version updates.  The Hasleo Off-line WinPE (.OPE file) remains on your System as that WinPE structure doesn't change very much at all over time.  I use this option because I'm constantly updating my Hasleo app for testing purposes... it's very quick once you have the .OPE file.  All the application has to do when creating the ED is the "Building" process... no downloading.

@Froggie are you forgetting about the Recovery Environment on the PC that (if not deleted) would be used in the build rather than the MicroSloth download?

The offline .ope does not work with my picky laptop without many drivers having to be added. A very painful manual process. I have developed a script for inserting drivers into the winpe.wim, but it is not worth the effort.
