i got this message ("Failed to run system API.(0x0000001500150000)" ),too.
It isn't matter if i want to create win 7 / 8 / or 10 on usb, i do it on serveral usb devices. Always the same Messages.
I installed WintoUSB today the first time.

i download the patch and i can start the tool without any error. the first few time kaspersky delete the wintousb.exe during generating the Image on the usb device. meanwhile runs up to 100%, but if want to boot from the usb i got the message "your pc run into a Problem..." and stopped.

Thanks, patch works great, I finished installing win on my usb but now I get the same error as the other INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, a bit frustrating.

Having a similar problem and didn't want to create a ton of posts..

I know that WintoUsb works with my OTG SSD as I've used it for previous versions of Windows Technical Preview.

This time around it will not identify my drive "IF" its initialized to GPT, which is what it needs to be (and has been for all previous versions of Windows 10).

I had thought "perhaps" M$ did something to the iso so you couldn't make WTG drives, but that could not be true, because I can initialize the drive to MBR and W2U sees it no problem...

I have run out of idea's... I've even gone into Diskpart and cleaned the drive, setup system partitions, formatted according to all guidelines, and W2U simply doesn't see my OTG SSD drive when its initialized to GPT.

P.S. Thought I should mention that it will only NOT recognize my drive initialized GPT for the Windows 10 build 9926, it will identify it for Windows 7, and for previous Windows 10 builds...

I have the exact same problem - I am trying to install Win10 tech preview (build 9926) to the external hdd connected to my Acer Aspire Switch 10 tablet pc.

The moment I convert the external hdd to GPT (note: i have created EFI system partition in FAT32 format and primary partition in NTFS format), W2U simply doesn't list it under the destination disk. When I convert it back to MBR, W2U immediately identifies the drive and list it under destination disk.

Anyone found a fix to this?

I'm trying to install on a 16GB ADATA USB3 pendrive.

Windows10 x64 gives me: not enough space
(seems right, because the pendrive has 14GB formatted)

Windows10 x32 gives me: copy file filed (0x0000008000b40000)
(at 100%)
(trying to boot it, gives NTLDR is missing)

I cheeked the SHA-1 of the ISO and it's a good copy, downloaded form Microsoft
