Emergency Disk - Download Win PE Components?

How do you get back the option to use the OPE file after you tick the "Download WinPE components" box? I seem to have lost it and also where this option is discussed in the Forum.

You need to manually delete the file C:\Program Files\Hasleo\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\WADK\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\winpe.wim first, and then you can re‑select to use the .OPE file to create WinPE.

5.8.2.0 is great with all its added features.

One thing I have noticed however on my Dell XPS13 9310 high res screen is that on booting in to the ED, the box with the recovery options is very small. Readable, but only just. Not really a problem for me since I know where all the bits I need to tick are. But maybe for others?

And with 5.6.2.1 the said box was fine - plenty big enough.

The program's GUI was developed using QT, which is an issue with QT's support for high-resolution displays. 

Please rename the attached qt.conf.txt to qt.conf, then copy it to the following folder within your Hasleo Backup Suite installation directory:
bin\WINPE\Program Files\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\ (typically C:\Program Files\Hasleo\Hasleo Backup Suitebin\WINPE\Program Files\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\)

After placing the file there, recreate the WinPE environment and check whether the problem still occurs.

So just to be sure I am doing what you proposed:
I made a file called qt.conf with just two lines in it, namely:

[Platforms]
WindowsArguments = dpiawareness=0

I then copied that qt.conf file in to the directory mentioned above, where it replaced the qt.conf file that was already there. And then remade the ED iso.

But unfortunately it made no difference. Maybe the dpiawareness needs to be something other than 0 ?

It is late here so maybe we can continue in the morning. Thanks for the suggestions.

If the file already exists, delete it first and then recreate WinPE.
