HBS & encryption
#1
Is the encryption feature only available in the paid version (the comparison of products on the site does not show this feature)?  The option is shown as one of the tabs in the backup option, but the "Enable encryption" check-box and passwords cannot be entered.

@Bespoken,

If you are @Quandary at another Forum, welcome to the Hasleo Forum.  If not, welcome anyways!

I regret that I am not yet as knowledgeable about the Hasleo Backup Suite and the differences between the free and Pro versions as I should be, to be able to readily and accurately answer your question.

Please be patient until @admin, or other more knowledgeable members of the Forum Team, log in who can answer your question.  You will receive a reply within 24 hours.

Welcome again.  Have a great day.

Regards,
Phil

Yes, that is me. I found the answer in a tutorial. The encryption must be set when a new task is being created. It cannot be added later. Another item off my concerns checklist.

@Bespoken,

Thank you for adding to my HBS education, and I am very pleased that you have joined us!

I invite you to peruse the HBS Forum to get a sense of our commitment here to user/customer satisfaction and support.

Please ask any questions you have.  You will get a prompt reply.

Suggestions for improvements are always welcome as well.

Hasleo Backup Suite is a relatively new entrant into the Windows imaging community, but they are dedicated to developing a "first-in-class" imaging solution, which is already competing with the older, established, "big" names.

I have been doing comparisons now for some time of HBS against Easeus Todo Backup Home and Macrium Reflect 8.1, and I continue to update my findings every three weeks.  You can find my latest post here:

I also invite you to visit our "General Forum" to read the "Welcome" and "Forum Rules" topics so that you are aware that Hasleo is professional in its products, and its Forum.

Have a great day, and welcome aboard.

Regards,
Phil

Yes, encryption must be set when the task is created, and cannot be added or changed later. Thanks.
