Booting Rescue Disk Displays Tiny Image
#1
Laptop is:  Model:I7591-7483BLK-PUS 2-in-1 (7000 Series) 15.6 inch 2-IN-1
HBS version used 5.9.2.1

I just made a rescue disk for the above laptop and when booting, the display of the application is too tiny to be functional. I'm sure it is something I've done, but the Rescue Disk does display properly on my other computers. Is there some Dell display driver I should be including when I create the Rescue Disk? See image attached showing what I mean.
I should add that the Rescue Disk made with version 5.6.2.1 boots fine and the display is normal.
Many Thanks.

Hi,

This problem can occur with later HBS versions on high DPI displays.

One solution for this problem is to delete (or rename) the qt.conf file in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Hasleo\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\WINPE\Program Files\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\

After that, recreate your WinPE image.

For reference - this was discussed before here. The solution in the end was to delete the file.

@admin: Maybe this should be the default? Is there a reason for that file?

I vote for its removal as it is easy to forget to delete it when a new version of HBS forces a rebuild of the boot menu.

Thanks for the above replies. I'll go ahead and delete the file and rerun the ED.
