5.8.2.0 fails on my Dell Xeon syatem.
Says the system cannot find the path to the drive.
Clicking "Backup" "Disk/Partition Backup" took a full 3 minutes to load the next page.
I have been reading on other forums that it is also failing.

Now in your favor, The program is now showing all 5 of my partitions instead of three.
I did a restore yesterday, (Don't know why} but I had to resize the C: partition to 600 GB
and guess what? It wiped out my two Dell recovery partitions.
I was able to recover the partitions, however I think this is unacceptable.

I updated Hasleo to the latest version, 5.8.2.0. When I try to create a recovery disk, Avast blocks the "BackupWorker.exe" file because it's infected with the "filerepmalware[misc]" threat. The recovery disk fails with an error.

VirusTotal doesn't detect anything related to this file, including Avast!

Is this a false positive?

Hi, I'm new to NAS backups. Much to learn

The NAS (Asustor AS5404T) will be in sleep mode when not needed.
So you need to put a pre-command in the backup task to wake up the NAS.
However, the task in Windows 11 fails.
Instead, Hasleo gives error code 0x07B0021300000035: 'The network path is not available'.
If I run the batch file outside Hasleo Backup Suite Free (5.6.2.1), the NAS wakes up, no problem.
And there is a time delay in the batch file to guarantee the NAS is fully booted.
It looks like Hasleo backup checks the path before the pre-command. Is this true or not?

Any other ideas?

I'm curious to know the difference between full, differential, and incremental backups. I can't find reference to them in the online manuals. Could somebody please direct my reading?

Using Hasleo V5.6.2.1

Using a Dell Tower ECT 1250 i7-14700 (4 months old), Windows 11 Pro 25H2, 16GB RAM.

Back up onto external Seagate One Touch Disk 4TB.

Running a File back up (lots of files). When started it stated that it would take approx 19 hours to do the back up. Not a problem. Machine left on overnight. Up to that point it had been progressing and running fine.

This morning it appears to have frozen on 79% of back up (has displayed that figure for at least 4 hours now).

Curiously showing time left as 00.00.01 

Is there something still going on that I can't see or should I stop it running now and try again?
I have used this software in the past without problems.

I have searched other threads but couldn't find anything with same symptoms.

I purchased Hasleo Backup Suite Pro (HBSP) on 2025-10-30.  I created an Emergency Recovery USB on the day of purchase and installation, and I had never updated it since then.  In relation to another topic here, I decided to be less lazy and update my HBSP Emergency Recovery USB today.  It took five minutes.

My apologies for being inexperienced, but I was interested in the option to "Download WinPE Components."  It was not selected by default.  I went to the online help, but it concisely stated that checking that option would stop HBSP from "looking" for WinPE components on my computer ... ?

The inference is that the WinPE components are already on my computer, so why would I want to download a duplicate copy of those files specifically for HBSP?  Since I do full system images, including System Files, this would increase the size of my weekly disk images, would it not?  Or, does HBS use junction files/folders for that option, if selected?

What are the pros and cons of this option?  For now, I did not select that option; and, as I said, it only took five minutes to create a brand new shiny HBSP Emergency Recovery USB drive, that I tested and it worked fine.

Inquiring minds want to know ...  A day without learning one or more new things is a wasted day, IMHO.

PS: Perhaps the Hasleo Team might consider a pinned topic of common FAQ posts in relation to the Hasleo Backup Suite as a proactive measure ...  ?

Is there any way to save the filter list. I add about 30 filters each time I backup
but HBS deletes them when closing. I need a way to save them because I use the same filters every time.

I did a perfunctory search of "Emergency Disk" in this Forum, but I did not find a Topic dealing with notifying users when the Hasleo Team recommends that users/customers rebuild their Emergency Disks.  Some competing imaging products do that in their Version Release Notes.

I would suggest that the Hasleo Team consider including that information in the Version Release Notes, not only when it IS required, but also when it is NOT.  Perhaps this has been previously addressed, and I just failed to see it, being relatively new here ...
