Good to Know Before You Start

  • EasyUEFI can only be installed on (U)EFI-based Windows — if the system booted in BIOS/CSM mode, the installer stops with a hint. Use the Windows PE emergency disk to repair UEFI boot problems on such machines.
  • Changing or deleting boot entries affects how the computer starts. Back up the current UEFI/BCD configuration first (EasyUEFI can export it) and keep a Windows PE emergency disk at hand.
  • Business use requires a Professional or Enterprise license — the trial version is limited to evaluation.
