The Storage Path Management feature of Hasleo Backup Suite allows you to manage paths (local paths or network shared paths) that can be used as backup sources and destinations, such as adding, editing, and deleting storage paths.
Step 1. Install and run Hasleo Backup Suite, click "Tools" button in the navigation bar, then click "Storage Path Management" button in the operation area.
Step 2. Enter the storage path you want to add in the path edit box or click 
to browse for the storage path you want to add, and then click "+" button to add the path.
* Please note that you will need to enter the username and password to add a network shared path.
Step 3. Hasleo Backup Suite starts adding the storage path and you will see the newly added path in the list after the operation is completed.
After the path is added, you can click on the "Actions" menu after the path to edit and delete the path.
A: You can add local paths (such as hard drives, USB drives) and network shared paths (SMB/CIFS) as storage paths for backup sources and destinations.
A: Yes. When adding a network shared path, you'll need to enter the username and password to authenticate and access the shared folder.
A: Yes. Click the "Actions" menu next to the path and select "Edit" to modify the path settings, including the path location and credentials.
A: Deleting a storage path only removes it from Hasleo Backup Suite's management list—it does not delete any existing backup files stored there.
A: There's no strict limit. You can add as many storage paths as needed, but keep in mind that too many paths may make management more complex.
A: Yes. Once a path is added to Storage Path Management, it can be used as either a backup source, destination, or both depending on your backup configuration.
A: Verify that the network share is accessible and credentials are correct. Also ensure the network connection is stable and you have proper permissions to access the shared folder.
A: Yes. You can add storage paths from multiple network locations, each with its own credentials if needed.
