I have an external disk that is encrypted by BitLocker under Windows, and I recently purchased a MacBook Pro, unfortunately I can't access this BitLocker encrypted drive in Mac OS. Please help me, how do I access BitLocker encrypted drives in Mac?
BitLocker-encrypted drives cannot be accessed directly in macOS because BitLocker uses a proprietary encryption algorithm developed by Microsoft for Windows. macOS does not natively support reading or writing BitLocker-encrypted drives. To access a BitLocker drive on a Mac, you need a third-party BitLocker solution for Mac such as Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere For Mac.
Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere for Mac is a user-friendly tool designed primarily to access BitLocker-encrypted drives on macOS. With this software, you can easily mount a BitLocker drive and then read and write to it as securely as you would with a native Mac drive.
Step 1. Download and install Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere For Mac.

Step 2. For macOS Mojave (10.14) and later, you need to grant Full Disk Access to Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere For Mac. For more information, please refer to Granting Full Disk Access to Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere For Mac.

Step 3. Run Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere For Mac, right-click the BitLocker encrypted drive you want to access in main window, then click "Mount drive".

Step 4. Enter the password or recovery key, then click "Mount" button to mount the drive.

Step 5. After the operation completes successfully, the drive will be mounted and its icon will appear on your Mac's desktop.

Step 6. Click the icon on your Mac's desktop to open the drive. You can now access the BitLocker-encrypted drive like a native Mac drive—read, write, copy, and delete files.

As mentioned above, Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere for Mac lets you easily access BitLocker-encrypted drives on macOS. Whether you're using a Mac Mini, Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or iMac, this software is the best choice for your needs.
